We are very thankful to the Lord for what He has done in this ministry since 1983. We are now heading into the 40th year of our ministry, which started in Sakila, Tanzania.
All of the ChristHope Orphanage children— including our college students —are required to be home at the orphanage in Arusha for a national census this month.
In our last newsletter, we mentioned some urgently needed repairs to parts of the orphanage wall that have been damaged or weakened due to the large amount of water that collects around the base of the wall during Tanzania's rainy season.
As noted in Eliudi's letter, drought and inflation have taken a toll on the people of Tanzania. The problem is very big, and it looks like the prices of everything will go up in the future.
With five more students moving up to Hebron Secondary School in Sakila, we have 42 children living at ChristHope Orphanage in Arusha and 27 at boarding school.
